The Avenue BRAVADO
For this issue, I had the opportunity to design this artiicle’s layout and styling. I art-directed the photoshoot, sourced the looks, made alterations, and assisted photo staff with lighting and posing. Afterwards, I created the layout by strategically placing text and photos, choosing the photos, deciding the article colors, and designing the title page. I designed some letters of the word “Terrible” to extend down the page to emulate the falling ribbon on the model’s arms.
I designed this article’s layout using art created by a student artist. I chose the article colors and arranged the text and art pieces over the four pages. I also designed the title page and creatively placed the razor in a position to look like it was shaving off the word “OH”, as the article is about the rising popularity and history of body hair.
